The Ōtaki Camping and Craft Expo (2&3 November) proved to be an outstanding success, drawing large crowds and celebrating community spirit over two action-packed days.
3,000 visitors came to the Expo, from the Kapiti Coast, Porirua, Wellington, Lower and Upper Hutt, Levin, Palmerston North, Napier, Feilding, Whanganui, New Plymouth, and as far as Christchurch! There was over 30 craft and food stalls, with 100% of stall fees going to local charity, The Otaki Women's Community Club (Who reinvest back into the local community).
The collaboration with local family business Otaki Hunting & Fishing and the Otaki Market was a great showcase of community spirit. With an amazing array of stall holders, the expo showcased the very best in tents, crafts, and local artisan products. Attendees were treated to an impressive collection of tents from Zempire for camping enthusiasts of all ages.
"This event allowed us to connect with the local community and showcase the latest in camping and outdoor gear. It's inspiring to see such enthusiasm for the outdoors and a shared commitment to making these experiences accessible for everyone."
