Sponsorships are available for the kids market
If you'd like to take part in the July Kids Market, from articles to help promote, small sponsorships, supplying giveaways, having an educational stall or hosting an activity, please get in touch.
Young people from Ōtaki, Levin, Waikane, Te Horo, Raumati, Foxton, Paraparaumu, Tawa, Wellington and all over the region join us for the awesome kid's event. We had an estimated 2,500 visitors at the April kid's market. Usually stall fees are $10, but for young people at the Kids Market it's a koha/donation.
In January and April, we gained amazing media attention with articles in the Ōtaki Mail, NZ Hearld, a spot on NewsTalkZB and we even appeared on television! TVNZ 1 Breakfast with three young people representing the Kids Market with a live interview.
This is now a regular feature on our events calendar. We are busy putting together an awesome schedule of events, activities and giveaways on the day.
We are a market with a difference, the longest running market on the Kapiti Coast and managed by the Ōtaki Women's Community Club, a charity. 100% of the proceeds from market back into the local community.
