The Ōtaki Women’s Community Club (OWCC), a cornerstone of community connection and support in Ōtaki, is proud to announce the appointment of its new leadership team.

Joining her in the leadership team are Alice Marfield-Jones as Secretary and Kara Taogaga as Treasurer. Alice is widely respected for her attention to detail and organizational excellence, while Kara brings financial insight and a strong community focus to the club’s financial management.

Together, the new team is focused on continuing the OWCC’s mission to empower women and support the wider Ōtaki community through vibrant events, strategic partnerships, and inclusive projects – including the much-loved Ōtaki Market, which continues to grow under the Club’s guidance.

"It’s an honour to step into the role of President of the Ōtaki Women’s Community Club.

"I’m proud to be part of an organisation with such a rich history of supporting local initiatives, championing creativity, and strengthening community connections. I look forward to building on that legacy and helping the market and club continue to grow as a vibrant, inclusive space for everyone.” - Tracey Humphrey, President, Otaki Women's Community Club

The new leadership team is already working on several new initiatives and community collaborations, set to roll out over the coming months. The Club invites all members, supporters, and new faces to get involved and help shape the next chapter of community connection in Ōtaki.
