Ōtaki Easter Market Draws Huge Crowd for Family Fun in the Sun

The Ōtaki Easter Market proved to be a huge hit this year, with 1,500 visitors turning out to enjoy a fun-filled family day under the clear blue skies. The sun was shining, the market was buzzing, and community spirit was out in full force.

Held at the Ōtaki Market, the special Easter edition of the market delivered festive cheer with vibrant craft table and colouring competition, both proudly sponsored by the Ōtaki Women’s Community Club (OWCC). Children delighted in the thrill of the hunt, while the craft area gave young creatives the chance to make Easter-themed art and keepsakes to take home.

A highlight of the day was the welcome presence of several new stall holders, adding fresh flavour and variety to the already diverse lineup. Visitors enjoyed browsing everything from handmade crafts, home baking, and one-of-a-kind gifts to delicious food and fresh produce.
