The Ōtaki Kids Market is thrilled to announce an exciting new collaboration with Levin Intermediate School, bringing the vibrant energy and entrepreneurial spirit of the Kids Market to their school grounds.
This special event will support Levin Intermediate’s fundraising efforts for students heading off on a life-changing trip to Japan. It’s not just a fundraiser — it’s a unique opportunity for young people to gain real-world business experience, showcase their creativity, and feel the pride that comes with running their own stall.
“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Levin Intermediate to bring the Ōtaki Kids Market to their school. It’s a great way to support their fundraising efforts for the students travelling to Japan, while giving more young people the chance to experience the excitement and empowerment that comes from running their own stall.”
Tracey Humphrey, President, Otaki Women's Community Club
Stallholders — many of them aged 10–16 — will be selling everything from handmade crafts, baked goods, art, and toys to innovative creations that reflect their individual passions. With the market open to both the school and wider community, it promises to be a fun-filled day of shopping, connection, and youth-led enterprise.
We are so excited to be collaborating with the Otaki Kids Market, it's such a great experience for our YOUNG people.
