matariki on Main Street: Māoriland and the Ōtaki Market team up

What an amazing kauapapa from the Māoriland Event team! It was a fantastic end to a weekend of awesome Matariki events right here in Ōtaki.

The collaboration between Māoriland and the Ōtaki Market for the Matariki Street Party was a celebration of local culture and creativity. The Ōtaki Market provided 13 stalls, showcasing a diverse range of offerings, from native trees, New Zealand products to locally made crafts and Māori-themed craft.

There was awesome music, Otaki Market Stalls and delicious Kai available. There's something magical about groups and organisations coming together with a shared purpose. Building connections and fostering a sense of belonging.
