Setting up my Stall at the Otaki Market - Loading and Unloading

The Otaki Market is a busy market on the main highway, opposite New World. With a mix of art & craft,  plants, clothing, garden art, jewellery, vintage and collectables, produce and food stalls & trucks. Our market is split into two zones, the Grass Area and the Car Park Area. We've put together a handy guide on unloading and loading your stall site.

Pack in times are, 8.30am-9.45am to be ready for 10am.

Pack down time are 2pm-2.30pm. Leaving early is by prior arrangement.

Grass Area

There is no vehicle access to the grass area, you will be required to park around the edge of the grass and carry your equipment and stock a very short distance to your site.

You can unload in the yellow area (map below). Once you have unloaded, we ask that you move your car before you set up your stall. If you'd like someone to watch over your equipment and stock, please let one of our team know, we are happy to help.

Ōtaki Market, Grass area loading and unloading areas

Top Tip: Some stall holders use a trolly's, which allows them to park up at the Otaki Train station (early to get a good spot) then wheel their equipment and stock to the grass area.

Carpark

You are able to drive into the market site between 8.15am-9.15am.

Non Car stall

We have a lot of visitors and community members on site during these times and you must have removed your car by 9.15am. We recommend you unload and remove your car before setting up your stall.

Car stall

If you have a stall which allows a car space, please ensure you are parked by 9.15am. If you need help manoeuvring your vehicle around the market, please let one of the team know, we are more than happy to help.
